Y'all it's that time of year where everyone feels all loved up and will post good tidings and dreams for the new year. You know it is coming.
So, I will keep it brief so you can get back to mustering up your thoughts on what 2025 will bring. If you're Canadian everyone is wondering if we will see a 25% beef tariff on beef - or a spring election.
So, I figured we would recap what we accomplished at Stock Dog Training in the last year.
We grew from about 200 members to nearly 38,000 members
We added some new admins who have been actively posting some amazing content.
We added video guidelines
We added the website and application - Stockdog Training Online which includes a blog (that you are now reading) a forum for people to post their own dogs and ask for support, questions to trainers etc. It also includes an app!
We added Trained Stock dogs posting - for free
We added Litter Announcements posting - for free
Clinics, trials and more were added for free
Trainers - were added to the website
We added a Stud Dog Book to the website (if you want your dog added please send us an email or a message - 303ranchinc@gmail.com )
We did a few things, some are still works in progress. With the PETA restrictions on Facebook we are limited greatly by what we are able to post, and ultimately we want everyone to have a space where they can still connect with other handlers, trainers, and breeders without being afraid of being thrown in Facebook jail!
We launched the website as an alternative to see how much use it would get. So, thank you to everyone who signed up for memberships on the website, and app. We do hope that it will continue to expand. Our intent is that their be a free option for connecting with others, and a free option for advertising litters, started and finished dogs, and to expand our ever growing community which you are all an integral part of!
On that note, as the winds of change continue to blow with every year as we pass from one to the next - we trust all will be well with you and yours. Remember, to never stop working towards your personal goals, your goals with your dogs, and with your own development as livestock and stock dog handlers.
Again all of the services for classifieds, listing a started or trained dog, advertising litters of puppies, training services, clinics, and trials - are all provided free of charge.
